Roanoke: A Novel of the Lost Colony

I can not say enough good things about this book. After completing it, I feel that the children and I have a clear overview of England and the New World at the time of Roanoke. Also, the colony is real to us because the author was able to bring the colonists to life. I don’t think the any of us will forget that Virginia Dare was the first baby born in the new world anytime soon. Definitely no twaddle here!
